Renovations at Town Square Mall in Windhoek, which commenced at the end of January, are expected to be completed by mid-May.
Custodian of the mall and independent property management company Broll Namibia embarked on the renovation as part of its efforts to continuously improve the shopping experience.
“Town Square is over ten years old and required a much-needed facelift. Visitors to the mall can expect a new modern feel to the building after the renovations and will be able to enjoy an enhanced shopping experience.
“It is Broll Namibia’s focus to keep on improving its properties by continuously ensuring an improved service offering and overall shopping environment,” said Broll Namibia Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Sylvia Rusch.
“Ultimately it is all about maximising to the full potential of each of the properties under Broll Namibia’s management,” she added.
Some of the changes that can be expected, according to Rusch, are new tiles, new bulkheads and new lights. In addition there will be a new Standard Bank security foyer, which is currently under construction on the upper level.
“Due to the fact that the mall is trading while the renovations take place, some inconvenience can be expected, but the landlord and contractor have all measures in place to minimise this inconvenience, as well as ensuring a safe shopping environment at all times,” Rusch concluded.
