Young Brazilians bounced back from their humiliating 10-0 defeat to African Stars at Independence Stadium to beat the out-of-sorts Orlando Pirates at the same venue in the Namibia Premier Football League matches played on Saturday and Sunday.
Brazilians scored four goals through hatrick hero Wayne Esterhuizen and Francois Vries to condemn the hapless Pirates to their ninth defeat of the season.
Pirates have only won one match and drawn two while scoring a paltry eight goals (the second lowest in the league) and conceding 23 goals, the highest in the league.
They currently sit 16th on the log and look like they are destined for the dreaded relegation at the end of the season.
For Brazilians, the win against Pirates sees them move to 12th on the log, one point ahead of Civics in 13th and three ahead of the second-from-bottom Okakarara Young Warriors.
Their goal difference is minus 10, having won four of the 11 matches they played.
Other results from Sunday saw Eeshoke Chula Chula record identical 1-0 victories over both Unam FC and Okakarara, moving them to fifth on the log with 23 points.
Blue Waters collected four points over the weekend after beating Julihno Sporting 3-1 before being held to a nil-all draw by Life Fighters in Walvis Bay.
Julihno recovered from their defeat on Saturday at the coast to beat Okahandja United 3-0 on Sunday.
On Saturday, Okahandja beat Fighters by 2-1.
Having lost to Chula Chula, Unam managed to collect a point on Sunday after drawing nil-all with Gunners in Otjiwarongo.
Young African overcame Civics 1-0 on Saturday in Legare Stadium in Gobabis before drawing one-all with Tigers on Sunday at the same venue.
Tigers had lost 2-0 to FC Ongos on Thursday evening at the Independence Stadium in a match that had drama.
On Sunday, Ongos drew with Civics one-all at the Independence Stadium.
Following their massive win on Saturday, Stars maintained their top spot on the log with 29 points from 11 matches, followed by Ongos, who have the same number of points but have an inferior goal difference.
