In its fourth edition, the annual event, Hoevember, curated by award-winning artist Lioness, is set to transform Palm Tree Park into a vibrant carnival on Saturday.

Partnering with renowned brands and organisations, the event promises not just entertainment but a commitment to creating a safe space for self-expression.

This year, the theme is ‘Carnival’ setting the stage for a jubilant affair, pulsating with vibrancy and embracing the essence of diversity.

The organisers have made the festivities accessible to women and the LGBTQI+ community, offering early bird tickets for N$100 through My E Ticket, while gate entry will be priced at N$150. “Hoevember is aimed at creating safe social spaces for women and the queer community.

“We have been doing the event indoors for the past three years, this year we are turning it up a notch by taking it to an outdoor area. It is bigger and better,” said Lioness.

Lioness, renowned for her creative genius, has forged partnerships with esteemed brands such as Jägermeister Namibia, Komnik and Franck, My E Ticket via Namibia Media Holdings, Boheme Digital Marketing & Creative Agency, and the Voices for Choices and Rights Coalition (VCRC). Together, they aim to breathe life into an event that transcends mere entertainment.
