MultiChoice Namibia recently announced that six films produced through its local content initiatives received 13 nominations at the Namibia Theatre and Film Awards (NTFA), scheduled for 28 March.
The nominations honour exceptional storytelling, performances and production across various categories, emphasising MultiChoice’s commitment to fostering and highlighting local talent.
With 13 nominations across 10 categories, including Best Feature Film, Best Script and Best Editor, MultiChoice Namibia demonstrates the diverse range of filmmaking it supports.
“As one of the biggest funders of local content in Namibia, MultiChoice Namibia is honoured to champion local content development in Namibia by empowering creators, investing in talent across the board, and providing platforms for our stories to shine on Namibian screens and beyond,” said MultiChoice Namibia managing director Roger Gertze.
The National Theatre and Film Awards are making a comeback after a six-year absence.
