The Expo is taking place on November 1 and 2. This Expo gives top ten young Bizzkids entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their products and services. The Bank Windhoek Bizzkids competition was established four years ago to provide a platform for learners across Namibia between the ages of 6 to 16 years to sell and promote their own products and services. The competition’s main objective is to educate the Namibian youth about entrepreneurship, and to give the young entrepreneurs an opportunity to enter a competition whereby they can win one of ten exhibition stands at the Bank Windhoek kid’s fun fair and family expo.

The top entrepreneurs or teams will each get a promotional cup, t-shirt and bag to wear at the expo. The winners’ get to be titled the Bank Windhoek Bizzkids, win N$ 5000 for their school, N$ 5000 for themselves and they will keep the proceeds of their sales and no commission will be paid over to Bank Windhoek. The second prize will win N$ 3000 and the third prize will go home with N$2000.

The Executive Officer: Marketing and Corporate Communication Service of Bank Windhoek, Marlize Horn says, “although we encourage prospective participants to think big and come up with unique and innovating ideas, what is most importantly is that the idea should be marketable and saleable. One should be able to make a profit in order to over your operating costs”.
