"The FNCC presents the opening of a photography exhibition by Claude Dityvon on Wednesday 5 July at 18h00 at the FNCC Gallery. For the first time, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud (1854 - 1891), the landscapes he visited were photographed. From Tadjourah to Agna and HahaÃÆ'Æ'Æ'ÃÆ''šÃ‚¯lÃÆ'Æ'Æ'ÃÆ''šÃ‚©, following the tracks used by his caravan, when he was an arms dealer in 1886, we discover amazing sceneries in their splendour and austerity.Claude Dytivon, who received the Niepce award in 1970, published about twenty books and catalogues. He started photography, by working on social themes. He never considered himself as a reporter, but as a man with a special look on the world surrounding him, with a poetic vision, constantly concerned by composition, shape and content. For the last few years, he concentrated his research on trying ""to show what is visible in the invisible"": fantasy, poetry, things that cannot be predicted or said... a process that brings him close to Arthur Rimbaud's work. This exhibition results from an expedition conducted by a team of different specialists led by French photographer Claude Dityvon. The team included Claude Jeancolas, famous specialist of Arthur Rimbaud, and several eminent professors from the University of Djibouti (PUD), Daoud Aboubaker Alwan, Hermano Mohamed Ali and Wahib Aden and five history and geography students, AÃÆ'Æ'Æ'ÃÆ''šÃ‚¯d Mohamed Ali, Fathia Houssein Hassan, Feisal Awaleh Barkad, Hibo Nour Mahamoud et Khadira Ahmed Hassan."
