It is amazing how every year this column #IndustryLoop grows in support.
Just FYI, if this is your first time coming across this column, let me give you some context.
#IndustryLoop focuses on the entertainment and arts industry, and it has been running since 2014.
Back to the support, I have random people who message me or stop me at public events for a conversation about the contents of this column.
We get into debates, banter or simply just have laughs because that is exactly what Industry Loop is.
Industry Loop is not limited to one style or way of thinking.
With Industry Loop, we challenge the norm aggressively. If you are an avid follower of this column, you would know.
But notwithstanding that, we decided at the beginning of the year to elevate this column with visuals by establishing a podcast.
The Podcast version of Industry Loop has caused serious drama in the last couple of months. It has been both good and bad drama, but that is exactly what Industry Loop is.
Industry Loop challenges the norm aggressively.
So, as we wrap up the year of analysis, critical interviews and banter, we ask you to come back alive next year because the plans we have for this column deserve your audience.
The final episode is up and running. Everyone whom you will see in the final episode is people who are patriots of this country.
These are Namibians and friends of this country, who simply want to see us win in all aspects.
They are your ‘No’ people. People who can call you out respectfully for getting it wrong. These are people whom I look up to in different ways. So, thank you for sharing your views on what #IndustryLoop did for the culture and the industry this year.
May the festive be safe, peaceful and fulfilling.
Until the next one, we say GMTM!
