The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa) recently unveiled its newly- redesigned, modern and user-friendly website. This development represents a crucial advancement in Namfisa’s dedication to improving operational efficiency, fostering transparency and enhancing engagement with stakeholders in Namibia’s financial sector.
Speaking at the launch event, company CEO Kenneth Matomola emphasised the transformative nature of the revamped website.
“This transformation is more than just a technological upgrade. It reflects our commitment to creating a space where stakeholders, consumers and industry can engage seamlessly. With input from all of you – our valued stakeholders, this platform has been designed to meet your needs, offering intuitive navigation, comprehensive information and interactive features that empower you to access Namfisa’s services efficiently,” he noted.
The newly-designed website serves as a one-stop resource hub, providing seamless access to regulatory updates, compliance guidelines, and licensing and registration processes.
Among its key features are modernised homepage and navigation, an intuitive layout with quick links and financial indicators for easy access to essential information, enhanced search functionality, licensing and registration portal, regulatory sandbox and FinTech Square, a news and events section, careers & procurement section.
The launch of the new website aligns with Namfisa’s mission to have a safe, stable and fair financial system contributing to the economic development of Namibia in which consumers are protected. The authority encourages stakeholders and the public to explore the platform, provide feedback and leverage its features to enhance their engagement with Namfisa.
