2015-11-03Staff Report 2 Rundu A man, aged 56, drowned while he was trying to swim across the Kavango river from the Angolan side where he visited relatives. The deceased, who was identified as Muyemburuko Muronga, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon when Muyemburuko Muronga was reportedly returning from visiting relatives. His body is yet to be found, as the police have been searching the river since the drowning was reported, but no recovery has occurred as yet. The incident happened at Karanga village near Divundu in Mukwe Constituency. “The body is not recovered and our police members are still searching as we speak,” Chief Detective Inspector, Chrispin Mubebo said. 2015-11-03Staff Report 2
