A 25-year-old bricklayer died instantly after his lifeless body was found hanging from a tree with a wire around his neck on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at Ondaanda in the Ohangwena region.

 According to the police, the victim’s motive is not known but was identified as Ndivayele Aimo Handuukeme, a resident of Omakango village.
In an unrelated matter, a lifeless body of a 40-year-old woman was discovered in Tsumeb on Saturday. She was identified as Josephine Ulipwamwe Ndevaetela. 

No foul play is suspected, the police said. 
Meanwhile, a case of rape was reported at Tses in the //Kharas region after a 15-year-old minor was allegedly raped by two suspects. 
According to the police, the victim was with her friend, attending a Langarm dance at a certain house at Gainachas, when the two suspects allegedly called her.

“It is alleged that she refused to heed to their call, and he grabbed her and forcefully dragged her to a riverbed, overpowered her, tied both the victim’s arms and mouth with their T-shirts and gang-raped her,” read the police report. 
The incident occurred around 20h00 and 21h00 at an unoccupied house at Gainachas.
Both suspects were arrested and were due to appear in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
