Brothers perish in road collision

The police in the Khomas region are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two brothers lost their lives in an accident in the early hours of Saturday in Windhoek. 

Khomas police spokesperson Silas Shipandeni said the incident occurred on Saturday at about 00h30 along Auas Road.

“A truck of Seapride Foods with number  plate N184-547W was travelling from a northerly direction into a southerly direction along Auas Road. The truck collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle – a grey Audi A3 1.8T, with number plate N202-793W, with two occupants,” he said.

The deceased died on the spot. They have been identified as Nathan Shikale and Chrisley Shoopala Shikale. Their remains were taken to the mortuary for a post-mortem to be conducted.
