Fluffy’s Artistry hair salon recently underwent structural renovations with help from Standard Bank Namibia. 

The salon was first launched in December 2018 at the same location in Shandumbala, Katutura.

Business owner Fransina Nikodemus, also known as ‘Fluffy’, indicated that she and her family underwent hardships that would at times leave tears in her eyes but she did not let it bring her down. 

She started the hairstyling business from her bedroom. 

Standard Bank Namibia marketing manager Fortune Kangueehi said during the inauguration of the revamped hair salon last week: “No matter where you are in business, your dreams are valid; if you work hard, you will realise your dreams and enjoy the fruits of your labour”.

In addition to the upgrade, the bank availed its PayPulse system for use as a payment method at the salon. 

The bank aims to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that are suffering from unprecedented challenges by providing business owners with the necessary tools and support.

Nikodemus plans to offer various pop-up master class sessions, aimed at transferring skills and broadening the knowledge of prospective hairstylists.
