Linda leaves footprints on the USA
WINDHOEK- The President of the African Cultural Festival, Uche Ozol, says Linda has done an enormous job and gave them the greatest performances. “Linda is great and her management is good, we are proud of them for making it up to USA. We are also proud of them since she made Namibia proud with her massive performances. I gurantee you all, and take my word now that Linda will be one of the top and young female artist in  the USA. One way or another, we will make it happen,” says Ozol adding that, he will do whatever it takes with his links and connection to make Linda successful.  Afro pop genre singer and songwriter, Linda Pendukeni Simasiku has just reached another milestone when she gave sizzling performances at the 3rd Annual African Cultural Festival that took place at 800 All American City Boulevard Roseville in United State of America (USA) on  October 19-25. The 17-year-old who landed back to Namibia last Sunday says she is ecstatic to be able to perform at the well-known venues outside the country. “As a young Namibian musician I could only dream and pray to hit the global stages around the world and finally the Lord has answered my prayers. This is something I only saw in many years to come, but at 17 I’m still working strongly. Namibia is my country and represent it to the fullest of my ability is what I strive to do,” says Linda. The African Cultural Festival aims to offer communities the occasion to get together for the preservation and celebration of diverse African cultures. Designed to educate and bring about positive change, the festival promotes common understanding while making valuable investments in art, charity and service. By Pinehas Nakaziko
