2008-07-24Staff Report 2 By Staff Reporter WINDHOEK Joseph Stoffel (33), a worker at the Hangana Fishing Company at Walvis Bay, is reported to have drowned after he fell into the ocean last week Wednesday. Police reported that Stoffel fell from the Canning Tide vessel at the time. Meanwhile, Opuwo Police reported a suicide at Okozongohe, after a Namibian man drove into the bush about a kilometre from his home and shot himself in the head with a 303 rifle. He died instantly and no foul play is suspected. In another incident, Iipumbu Samuel (18) died while undergoing an operation at Onandjokwe Hospital in Ondangwa. In the Caprivi Region, a man sustained serious injuries after a 26-year-old man shot at him at around 21h00 at Lizoi village recently. Police are investigating the incident. 2008-07-24Staff Report 2
