Old Mutual introduced its Core Growth Portfolio proposition, a new retirement savings product offered by its corporate segment, on Wednesday, 09 June 2021.  

The launch was hosted virtually from Windhoek and streamed live to invited companies countrywide. 

According to Patricia Olivier, Old Mutual Corporate Segment Executive, the latest addition of the product range aims to cater for employees close to retirement who want to ensure that their assets grow appropriately, while protecting it against adverse market conditions. 

This will in turn give employers peace of mind, knowing that they have done their best to secure retirement savings for their employees. 

The Core Growth Portfolio is a long-term investment portfolio which aims to provide steady growth together with valuable guarantees on capital and bonuses – designed to meet the needs of more conservative investors. 

The underlying asset portfolio has moderate exposure to growth assets of approximately 60%. This option offers smooth investment returns and lower investment and capital charges. 

 Tassius Chigariro, Group CEO, Old Mutual Namibia, expressed his enthusiasm over this new proposition.
