Rugby semi-finals set for tomorrow
"

WINDHOEK - With the country’s flagship rugby league semi-final clashes set for this weekend at the Hage Geingob Stadium, local rugby fans can brace themselves for fierce rugby action where blood, sweat and tears will be the order of the day.

In what promises to be an entangling affair, defending champions Western Suburbs takes on United Rugby Club in one of the two semis and fireworks can be expected when the two giants lock horns.

Both Suburbs and United will both into this weekend’s clash with high hopes and a possible victory for either side will go a long way in determining their future prospects.

Meanwhile, the second semifinal will see Rehoboth lock horns with Wanderers in what is expected to be another exhilarating encounter between the two giants.  Likewise, both outfits will eagerly be gunning for maximum points in a bid to a bid to book a place in the final of the much abbreviated rugby premiership.

However, Wanderers, who have been in fantastic shape for the better part of the season, can expect stiff competition from the equally spirited Rehoboth outfit.
