Big Guns Enter Late!

The Windhoek Motocross Club quite expected it, that the best riders would enter last.

It is a pity because that means no info is available and unfortunately no photos of the various MX stars.

In the 65cc Class two brothers from Zambia decided to race the Inter-Series this year, which also counts towards the AMU Southern African Championships, called in short ‘Southern Challenge’ – their names Dylan and Tylar McCann.

So we will have a real international field in this category.

Gerric Pretorius from South Africa will be the challenger of Namibia’s Mark Sternagel in the 85cc Class.

Gerric is found in 3rd spot in the 2007 SA-Championships.

From Canada comes Kerim Fitzgerald, who tackled the Lites East National Championship over there where he finished in an astonishing 8th place overall.

He will be a tough contender in the 125cc Class.

Dean Wheeler comes from South Africa and he also will try his luck in the 125cc Class.

In South Africa he is found in 9th position in the 125cc High School Class.

These riders, and all those mentioned before in this paper, will give a demonstration of world class Moto-X racing this coming Saturday, November 3 at the Red Bull MX Classic and one week later on November 10 at the Camel MX Dash for Cash.

All this and more will happen at the Gallina Motocross Park, 15 kilometres outside of Windhoek, on the road towards Okahandja, on Waldschmidt Egg Farm.
