WINDHOEK One of Namibia’s top economists, Martin Mwinga, is appealing to anyone that might have come across two Dell laptops and two memory sticks of 1-gigabyte capacity to please return them. The laptops contain very important information, including data on the National Development Plan 3, on which he was working with some government officials. One of the laptops is a back-up on which Mwinga kept important data collected over 10 years. The two laptops and memory sticks, each in a bag together with the documentation, were stolen from his car, which was broken into on Wednesday night in Eros suburb. The other information contained in the stolen items include a presentation that the economist was going to deliver at the Oshana Business Forum to be launched tonight at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Hall. His air ticket to Ongwediva was also stolen. Mwinga said whoever gets the equipment should hand it over to the nearest police station or call him on 081 127 3028.
