WINDHOEK – A suspect who allegedly stabbed a man on Saturday in Eveline and bolted from the scene was arrested on Sunday in Oshakati having travelled a distance of 708 kilometres.
Chief Inspector Pretunilla Kauna Shikwambi said the suspect was arrested in Oshakati on Sunday, adding that arrangements are being made for the suspect to appear in court in Windhoek.
Shikwambi informed the media that on Saturday at around midnight in Windhoek’s Eveline Street at Masipili Bar, 22-year- old, Simeon Uugwanga was stabbed with a knife after an argument with a suspect. Uugwanga was rushed to the Katutura State Hospital but died upon arrival.
