The hall of the Secondary School PK de Villiers at the southern town on Friday evening exploded in applause with the announcement of the winners of the education theatre festival here.

Six groups from the Hardap and Karas regions competed in the well-attended festival that ended the evening. More than 300 school-going youths and adults attended the exciting event, which was for the first time staged in the south.

The results were: – Best Play, Shark Island, by Assitej-L??????’??
