WINDHOEK Police yesterday confirmed that the hunt for the killer of Sanna Helena //Garoes is continuing. Police spokesperson, Chief Inspector Angula Amulungu, said his officers were working around the clock in an effort to resolve the case, and was confident that they would soon arrest the suspect/s. He said police were still appealing to anyone with information on the likely killer/s to come forward. ” I know there might be some people with information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrator/s, but they fear. Once again, I would like to reiterate my assurance that we will do anything to protect your information as well as your identity,” said Amulungu. He urged members of the public to cooperate fully with the police during their investigation, adding that police success was mainly dependent on cooperation from the public. Police have put up a reward of N$60 000 for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspected killer/s. ” We appeal to the public to keep phoning the police station with the little they know. There is an exception set for those who don’t want to reveal their names – just call the number and leave your information. You are not forced to reveal your name if you don’t want to,” he said. Anybody with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s should contact the police at (061) 209-4414, or their nearest police station. Meanwhile, parts of the body of //Garoes are still in the Windhoek police mortuary. Efforts to contact the //Garoes family yesterday were fruitless.
