Julie replaces Nauyoma as BA chairperson…elective AGM on the cards

Long-serving Black Africa Sport Club die-hard Jimmy Julie was this week appointed as the club’s new interim chairperson, replacing outgoing chairperson Dimbulukeni Nauyoma who resigned from the palm position.

The club issued a statement late Wednesday, wherein it also announced that they will soon be holding their much-anticipated elective annual general meeting (AGM), where a new substantive leadership will be elected and where a new strategic roadmap for the club will be unveiled.

The date and venue for the AGM will soon be announced once all logistics are sorted and well intact. At the planned AGM, the club will review its constitution and ensure that the constitution that will be adopted will speak to the future aspirations of the club and its fans.

On the departure of Nauyoma, the club thanked the young activist-cum-entrepreneur for his unwavering dedication to the club and fans, especially during the difficult period last year when the club lost its chairperson Lucky Richter.  “We wish Julie all the best in his new assignment to lead the club to greater heights during these challenging times and to ensure that Black Africa remains a force to be reckoned with in the elite premiership,” reads the statement.
