President Hage Geingob is recovering well after he underwent a corrective procedure on his right eye on Tuesday at a local hospital. According to a statement released from State House late on Tuesday, the President had an operation in his right eye where the old lens was removed and replaced with a new one. “The procedure was successful and the President has been asked to rest the eye for a few days,” reads the short briefing. He is expected to return to office on Monday next week.
