Nine beauties will be competing against one another for the much anticipated and first ever “Most Beautiful Girl in Namibia (MBGNamibia” beauty pageant, schedule for September 19 at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC).

The President of the pageant, Bobby Kaanjosa, says the pageant has been created to select a representative (female) from Namibia to participate in the fourth edition of the annual Mr & Miss Diversity Culture International pageant in December 1-7 in Malaysia. “The pageant emphasises are on grace, poise, confidence, originality, intelligence and talent,” says Kaanjosa adding that the pageant is set to be bigger and more different from other Namibian pageants “The name of the pageant already states so, in the future the MBGNamibia organisation hopes to obtain rights to more international pageants such as Miss Humanity Peace, Miss Heritage and many others,” says he.

To top it all three former beauty queens such as Salmi Nambinga, Brown Edwards and Angelica Shida have been appointed to mentor the finalists. “We are hoping to have industry practitioners on our judging panel. We would also like to announce and thank our sponsors such as the Healling Touch Spa, RedBull, Tempations and Mr Bonety daiz Upora for the clothing for the much works they have done,” Kanjoosa appreciates.
