2013-11-14Mathias Haufiku RUNDU – A group of Indian businesspersons robbed at gunpoint last Sunday in Rundu are offering a reward of N$10 000 to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. The suspects managed to flee the scene with four Samsung mobile phones with a combined value of N$28 000. The suspects also got away with cash of N$2000. The five suspects allegedly broke into a house at the newly-built Rainbow Village at around 02h30, after tying up the security guard who was guarding the place. They then robbed the six men sleeping inside, said NamPol’s Chief Inspector Chrispin Mubebo. The suspects are unknown and have yet to be arrested, however, police investigations continue.
