The full contingent of South African racing cars have landed in Namibia today (Thursday), which were transported by four vehicle carriers, totalling nearly 30 cars which will be racing on Friday and Saturday 8 to 9 August during the two-day Ford & Friends Race Bonanza. Event organisers Windhoek Motor Club are expecting a huge turnout of spectators to enjoy the full racing programme of karting, oval track, drifting, drags and circuit racing. The week-en’s racing kicks off with drags on Friday night starting at 19h00, with the highlight for speed ‘freaks’ on Saturday when a full racing programme will see the SA ‘boytjies’ racing the hell out of the V8’s, Supercars and the , is gearing up for some hell raising action, with a back-to-back programme designed to entertain the spectators. Motorsport fans can expect everything from Spaceframe Super Cars, V8 Mustangs, Clubmen’s, Drifting, Quad Oval racing and Go-Karts to be in top form. This is one not to be missed.
