Bye-bye Hidipo Hamutenya

Home Letters Bye-bye Hidipo Hamutenya

If you want to go quick go alone, but if you want to go far and remain credible go together with those whom you have embarked on a just cause with.

The hyena chasing two bucks will but remain a confused one and will go to bed hungry. The biggest political blunder is when a founder resigns from his just cause. If you can’t be president of the party, does it mean that you are no longer in support of a just cause?

I will remain RDP till I die. This girl is no camouflaging chameleon. I own every word coming out of my mouth. Together we do better, together with our principled cadres we shall go far. We are willing to lose it all, even with our bank accounts that read zero, to go a thousand miles for a just cause – to advance the collective wellbeing of the Namibian nation. It will never, ever be about my own belly.

I guess I was born filled with principles with so much faith, so my belly shall never remote control me. If you cannot eat a marathon chicken without odjove (traditional Marula oil), it means you are ready to compromise your values, whenever you are told that you are not the main character leading a group of people.

Your house is paid off, your important bills paid, but what about that poor person who bought into your dream and lost his job? The king is not always the one who sits on a big chair. The king is the one who is willing to be thrown on the floor, but remain consistently committed to a just cause.

Monica Nambelela will remain one of the sternest supporters of the Rally for Democracy and Progress. You either stand for something or fall nothing at all. ‘HH’ is still a good friend of mine and his son will forever be my brother.
